Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account or using Indril in any way, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use Indril.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Indril. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian. You may use Indril only where Indian law and these Terms allow.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information, do not impersonate anyone else, and do not transfer or sell your account. You can deactivate or delete your account at any time from Settings.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, voice notes, captions and other content you create on Indril. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display your content solely to operate, improve and promote Indril — for example, showing your posts to people who follow you or recommending your content in Discover. This licence ends when you delete your content or account, except for content already shared with others that they may have retained, and except for reasonable backup copies.

• Do not post content you do not have the rights to.
• Respect the privacy of others — get consent before posting identifiable people, including in View Once chats.

5. Creator Program

Creator levels, badges and rewards (from Bronze to Diamond) are earned by meeting the published criteria for authentic audiences and engagement. Rewards and monetisation features may have additional program terms, eligibility criteria and tax obligations. We may pause or revoke badges obtained through manipulation, bought engagement or violations of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Indril to break the law, harm others or undermine the community. That includes the conduct described in our Community Guidelines, and specifically prohibits:

• Hate speech, harassment, threats or targeted abuse.
• Illegal, dangerous or sexually explicit content, and content that exploits minors.
• Spam, fake engagement, automation that violates our rules, or attempts to hack, scrape or disrupt the service.

7. View Once messages

View Once is designed to let people share moments privately: media sent with View Once is intended to be viewed one time and is not retained by Indril after viewing. You may not use technical means to capture, save or redistribute another person's View Once media without their consent.

8. Indril's intellectual property

The Indril name, logo, design, code and all related brand assets are the property of Indril Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and may not be copied or used without written permission. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Indril to you.

9. Suspension and termination

We may remove content, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, break the law or put the community at risk. Serious violations may result in permanent banning. You can stop using Indril at any time by deleting your account.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Indril is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to keep Indril reliable and secure, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Indril Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of India. We will always try to resolve issues directly first — reach us at hello@indril.in.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Indril grows. For material changes, we will notify you in the app in advance. Continuing to use Indril after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
